A man and a woman arrested after a 24-year-old man was knifed to death after being ‘involved in an argument’ have been released without further action being taken.
Police launched a murder investigation after the victim was found dead in Melody Road, Wandsworth, near the junction with Allfarthing Lane on Tuesday evening (April 25).

Metropolitan Police officers, the London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance all attended the scene, but the victim was pronounced dead at 7.30pm.
It is believed the victim may have been involved in an argument with a group in Melody Road before being stabbed to death, a spokesperson for Scotland Yard stated.
A post-mortem examination took place yesterday (Wednesday, April 26) at Westminster Mortuary and gave the cause of death as a single stab wound to the heart.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command, led by Detective Chief Inspector Sam Price, continue to investigate.
The victim’s next-of-kin have been informed, and formal identification will be scheduled in due course.
