A woman was left with serious injuries after being attacked in a Cheam pub.

Police were called to the Harrow Inn Pub, in Cheam High Street, after woman in her forties was assaulted at 11pm on Saturday, December 31.

When officers arrived they found the woman had suffered facial injuries and serious injuries to her wrist.

Paramedics treated the woman and took her to a hospital in west London.

She has since been discharged.

Two women, aged 21 and 47, were arrested in connection with the attack.

They have been bailed until mid-February.
