London's Mayoral candidates have been sharing their St George's Day messages as the call for the day of Englishness to become a national holiday is renewed.
On April 22, Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence Party, joined Peter Whittle the party's Mayoral candidate, to call for the day to become a national holiday.
Happy #StGeorgesDay London. Enjoy the day.

Happy St George’s Day from my family to yours. #StGeorgesDay
The candidates are not the only ones getting in the spirit of the day.
