A father’s rights activist from Great Bookham who staged a protest on the roof a court has had his case dismissed.
Martin Matthews, 48, of Middlemead Road, Great Bookham was accused of trespassing on North Hertfordshire Magistrates' Court in Stevenage on January 6.
He had one charge of obstructing or disrupting a person engaged in lawful activity dismissed at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 14.
Mr Matthews told the Epsom Guardian: "I'm not really expecting any results [when I take part in these protests].
"We have been campaigning for so long, but nothing changes, so we might as well have some fun with it."
Two other people – Sharon Chesterman, 55, of Minehead Way, Stevenage, and Daniel Dedman, 33, of Bowmans Close, Potters Bar – also appeared in Luton Magistrates’ Court facing the same charge.
They both had the case against them dismissed.
One supporter from New Fathers 4 Justice said: "It could be argued appearing in Luton was punishment enough!"
