A lorry and a car crashed this morning, blocking the road linking Hampton Wick to Kingston.
Natalie O'Rourke, manager of Park Lane Stables in Teddington, photographed the aftermath of the crash in the High Street at about 9.15am.
She said: "It was chaos. The lorry had blocked the whole lane going into Kingston.
"It looked like the black car tried to pull out in front of it and the lorry couldn't stop in time so it just pushed the black car.
"The traffic couldn't get around the island by the White Hart Hotel.
"The airbags hadn't gone off and I don't think anyone was hurt."
A member of staff from the White Hart Hotel said the road was now clear.
