South West trains has apologised after commuters faced delays and travel disruption every day for a week.
Commuters vented their fury at South West trains on Twitter, slamming a week of late trains and short carriages.
@SW_Trains why have you reduced the number of carriages on the waterloo to Windsor service today? Overcrowded and people standing at Putney!

@SW_Trains been late everyday this week... Any signs of running a train through Putney of more than 5 coaches?

@SW_Trains services at Putney are useless! You make a great deal about making the station nice but all we want to do is leave it on a train!

@SW_Trains Lovely journey this morning. Only 5 coaches on your bi-hourly fast train in to Waterloo via Putney. You should be paying me!

A South West Trains spokesman, said: "We are very sorry for the inconvenience and disruption experienced by passengers travelling through Putney this week.
"We operate the busiest commuter network, operating 1,700 trains a day to more than 200 stations, this means that the smallest incident can have an impact on the services we deliver on our very busy network.
"Between now and February 2017, customers will benefit from £50 million of improvements across the network, including thousands of extra seats and 108 newly refurbished carriages."
