Giant hook-a-duck, a dog show and street food will all form part of the summer fair in Wandsworth Common this Sunday.
The annual event will be taking over Bellevue Road on Sunday, September 20, from 11am to 5pm.
Now in its fourth year, the fair is bigger than ever with 66 stalls, including street food, a bouncy castle and face painting, organisers have said.
Bennett Court will be transformed into Wandsworth’s very own pleasure beach with a giant hook-a-duck and the common will play host to a dog show, run by local dog walking service The Dogfather.
Categories include ‘waggiest tail’ and ‘looks most like owner’.
All proceeds from the show will go to the Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare Charity.
Throughout the day there will be live music on the festival stage on Wiseton Road, acts including the Balham Ukulele Society and DJ Goldenchild.
Event manager Emma Jane Clark said: "This event is a truly collaborative project, powered by the businesses which line this beautiful shopping street, mixed with the enthusiasm and community spirit which come as standard in this special part of south west London."
The event is free and is run by the Bellevue Road Traders Association.
