West End star Ruthie Henshall has presented graduates with diploma certificates on the very stage where she herself performed as a student years ago.
As guest of honour at the graduation ceremony, Henshall congratulated the class of 2015 from her former performing arts college, Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom.
Henshall, who is currently playing Mrs Wilkinson in musical Billy Elliot, says she would never have had the successful career she has without the top training and guidance she received at Laine.
Since graduating from Laine, she has released four albums, toured the country with her one woman concert and even written a book titled So You Want to Be in Musicals.
The graduation ceremony took place at Epsom Playhouse earlier this month.
