A serial burglar and robber who carried out raids at convenience stores across Bromley and south London has been jailed.
Paul Debenham, 31, was jailed for five years on Tuesday at Croydon Crown Court after pleading guilty to two robberies and six burglaries.
Debenham, who has no fixed residence, carried out his crimes throughout October and November last year.
MORE TOP STORIES He targeted the same Tesco Express along the High Street in Penge on October 27 and again on October 30, before raiding another Tesco Express along Anerley Road, Crystal Palace, on November 9.
He also twice broke into a Tesco Express in South Norwood, burgled an Off Licence in Carshalton, and robbed two convenience stores in Mitcham.
He broke into the stores when they had closed, each time entering with his face covered and demanding cash, tobacco and alcohol from terrified staff.
Debenham was arrested on December 2 in Birchanger Road, Croydon after being linked to the offences through forensic evidence from the scenes.
