A fight outside a school has left one 15-year-old boy with a head injury and another in police custody.
Officers on patrol in Wellesley Road were flagged down by people who saw the fight near St Mary’s Catholic High School in Croydon at about 3pm yesterday.
The injured boy had been hit on the forehead with a belt buckle.
Police arrested another 15-year-old boy on suspicion of affray.
He has spent the night in police custody and is being questioned about what happened.
