Kingston Adult Education has achieved a “good” Ofsted rating despite uncertainty about the service’s location.
The service, which has already moved from north Kingston to Surbiton and could move again to a former office block in New Malden, achieved a “good” rating in every category of the Ofsted report.
Councillor Andrea Craig, lead member for children, youth and adult learning, said: “This has been a particularly challenging period for Kingston Adult Education.
“Moving premises was not easy for the staff or students. To have significantly improved standards during this time is testament to hard work, commitment and determination.
“This is such good news and will help give these students in Kingston the best opportunities to find employment.”
