Chelsea flop Fernando Torres has landed himself a speeding ticket - for an offence committed well before he was rushed out of Stamford Bridge.
Torres, previously an Oxshott resident, was summoned to Staines Magistrates' Court on Friday, February 6, but failed to appear.
He drove at 47mph in Fairmile Lane, Cobham, a 30mph road on August 18 of last year.
The 30-year-old who played for Chelsea and trained at the Stoke D'abernon grounds, until making a move to AC Milan last month, was given a fine in absence of £400, with a £40 surcharge and £85 costs.
He was also given four points on his licence.
