A 12-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenager was stabbed in Croydon town centre last night.
Police arrested the boy on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following the attack in Ruskin Road, in which 14-year-old was knifed in the leg.
Police were called to the road at about 7pm.
Paramedics also attended and took the victim to a south London hospital, where he remained in a stable condition.
The 12-year-old boy remains in custody in a south London police station.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the stabbing.
