A wanted teenager was arrested when armed police swooped near a community centre on Tuesday.
Officers arrested a 17 year-old from Pollards Hill who was wanted for breaching bail conditions although a spokeswoman did not divulge the offence.
Armed police swoop outside community centre for wanted man - no gun found
The Metropolitan Police helicopter was called to back up armed officers who sealed off the area outside the New Horizon Centre in South Lodge Avenue, Pollards Hill on Tuesday afternoon.
A Twitter account for the helicopter team said just after 4pm they helped armed police officers to contain a premises where a wanted man was spotted.
A second man was thought to have a gun at the time although it has since been confirmed no firearms were found there by police.
