Letter to the Editor: Buses over trams
Regarding the letter from N Sharples (Trams are fast and frequent – Your Say, October 22).
Before the trams came into operation buses were rarely involved in traffic accidents and do not jump red lights.
The average waiting time for a 466 bus is six minutes.
Referring to the statement that 30m people used the trams in the last year – how many paid?
