I was appalled to read of the headteacher who takes away more than £200,000 as a salary having been employed to be the head-teacher of a primary school (Earning centre October 23).
This woman was appointed to look after the interests of that school. She seems to have used that to look after herself, presumably with the agreement of what must be one of Britain’s most complacent gang of school governors.
What a failure on the part of the teachers and parents of the
children at that school to protest about such an outrage, which the system now apparently permits.
I can see the “I’ve done nothing wrong – just looking after myself” defence.
