Elena Gurtful got more than she bargained for when she swiped her Nectar card on the giant Nectar Thank you Machine at Kingston’s Ancient Market Place.
Her prize? Pixie Lott, the chart-topping British singer, serenading her with her new single.
As Elena swiped her card, Lott surprised passersby by jumping out of a 13ft purple vending machine on Thursday.
It was all part of a touring promotion by the loyalty card firm which is touring the country throughout October.
The Mama Do singer said: "To see the reaction from the lady who swiped her Nectar card was brilliant, I’m sure they never bargained on me popping out to sing a thank you song for them."
