A man in his twenties has been rescued from scaffolding in Arthur Road, Wimbledon, this afternoon.
The emergency services were called to a home just after midday to reports of a man getting into difficulty on scaffolding.
London Ambulance Service said its crews treated a man in his twenties for a leg injury and remain there this afternoon.
Metropolitan Police officers closed the road at the junction with Leopold Road to allow the man to be treated and taken away.
Firefighters from Wimbledon are in the road with two fire engines.
