A burglar caught after a tip off from the public has been jailed for two years.
Officers arrested Patrick Horeatko after being called to reports of men acting suspiciously in Elmwood Road, Croydon.
During his police interview after being arrested for cannabis, he admitted burgling a home in Old Town, Croydon, and stealing laptops, Apple gadgets, bracelets, game consoles and a jewellery box.
He also admitted burgling a restaurant in Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon, and stealing £200 from the till.
The 25-year-old, of no fixed abode, was sentenced at Croydon Crown Court on July 17 after pleading guilty to burglary.
