A man has been charged after a shopkeeper was threatened with a golf club.
Fredrick Terence Mott, 64, has been charged with affray, common assault, possession of an offensive weapon in public, drink driving and urinating in public.
Police were called to the incident at a newsagents in Shelvers Hill, Tadworth, just before 5pm on Friday, March 7.
Mr Mott has been released on conditional bail to appear at South East Surrey Magistrates Court in Redhill on Monday, May 19.
