Motorcyclist with suspected spinal injuries taken to hospital
A female motorcyclist with suspected serious injuries was taken to hospital after a crash on Friday.
The woman who was riding a brown Lifan motorcycle collided with a black Ford Focus in Derek Avenue, Ewell, at 6pm.
Police said the motorcyclist in her 20s was taken to hospital for treatment of 'suspected serious spinal injuries'.
But the South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said the motorcylist had actually suffered suspected pelvic and leg injuries.
Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit at Surrey Police are investigating the crash. Anyone who witnessed the collision should call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference P13287788.
