Councillor Jason Perry says “there is no question of north Croydon being ignored by this Conservative council”.
He clearly doesn’t spend enough time out and about in this part of the borough.
For example, his own council’s figures show that north Croydon is blighted by fly tipping.
In West Thornton alone we’ve seen the number of fly tips rise from 194 to 1351 in the space of one year – a massive 600 per cent increase.
Councillor Perry’s ignorance and complacency is breathtaking - as is the smell created by the 30 fly tips dumped on our streets every day.
