Police are appealing for witnesses after a man had his drill stolen.
The man’s van was broken into while it was parked in Sainsbury’s car park, London Road, North Cheam, on Friday, September 13, just before 3pm.
He had made a point of parking the van with its rear doors backed up to bushes opposite the main store entrance to reduce the chances of it being broken into.
But when he came back from shopping he noticed the van had been moved forward, its rear doors were open and car was parked next to it.
He saw three white men, aged between 20-30, put an item into a Citroen Xsara Picasso Desire before speeding away.
A Milwaukee power drill was taken.
