A man has been charged following a break-in at a Homebase DIY superstore last night.

The incident occurred at 9pm on September 22, at the store on Reigate Road, Epsom, when two sliding doors at the front of the store were forced open, causing £250 worth of damage.

Twelve Karcher pressure washers were taken during the burglary but have since been recovered.

Police believe two people were involved in the break-in.

Justin Mitchell, 44, of Avondale Road, in Croydon, is due to appear at South East Surrey Magistrates Court on October 9.
