Packed with flowers, fruit and vegetables, hundreds of exhibitors and visitors flocked to the Epsom Garden Society’s autumn show on Saturday.

The show, held at St Joseph’s Church in St Margaret Drive, in Epsom, attracted more than 250 entries in its flowers, plants and fruit and vegetables categories, with a number of children also exhibiting.

Jill Farnham, the show’s secretary, said 200 people turned up on the day "many of them staying for quite a while to enjoy the excellent homemade teas on offer".

The Autumn Trophy was won by Eileen Dann who scored the most points in the flower, fruit and vegetable sections. 

Jo Farnham scooped the Challenge Trophy for Flowers, while Bernard Vyvyan bagged the Fruit Trophy and Cathy Flitter the Veg Trophy.
