A police station opened its doors to the public for the last time at the weekend.
Hundreds attended the police open day at Battersea Police Station, in Battersea Bridge Road, on Sunday.
The event gave visitors the chance to say a final farewell to the station before it permanently closed.
During the event police gave a live taser demonstration, while factual displays gave information on policing through the ages.
There were also fingerprint taking demonstrations, equipment on display as well as police horses on site.
Staff at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home offered free microchipping to pet owners, following law changes which mean all dogs must be chipped by April 2016.
The police station is closed to make way for the new Local Policing Model (LPM), which came into effect on September 16.
Jubilee House, in Putney Bridge Road, Putney, has also been closed, while Tooting Police Station, in Mitcham Road, Tooting, was downgraded to a police contact point.
Acting Borough Commander Paul McGregor said: "The highlight for me was a former PC, Mr Ted Aldred, who retired way back in 1987 who came back to visit his old station one last time before it closed for good.
"He was overjoyed to sit in one of the Rover Area cars of the day which we had on display from the traffic museum.
"A great celebration of policing in Battersea, with a positive message about the future under Local Policing Model".
