Two men have been charged with burglary and one of them with possession of a firearm, after a failed burglary in Kingswood.
On Thursday at 9.30pm two men forced entry into a property in St Monica’s Road, Kingswood, and stole two watches and an iPad.
Police were called to the scene and two men were arrested a short time later.
The watches have since been recovered but the iPad has not been.
Richard Ryan, 29, of Marlborough Road, Sutton, and Thomas Dawson, 31, of Eastgate, Banstead, were charged on Friday with aggravated burglary.
Mr Dawson has also been charged with having a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
The men appeared at South East Surrey Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and have been remanded in custody to appear at Guildford Crown Court on September 27.
