Blues ensemble The Motives bring together some of the finest talent from the European scene to bring you music inspired by 40s New York, 509s Chicago and 60s London.
Among their number is guitarist, singer songwriter and producer Matt Taylor.
His 1995 debut album earned him a British Blues Award nomination and he has gone on the record a further three with his band and numerous other records through collaboration.
He is joined by bassist Andy Graham, drummer Roy Martin and keyboard player Jonny Dyke.
The quartet are building towards Bluesfest 2013 at the Royal Albert Hall, but before then they will be swinging through Merton for one night at Merton Abbey Mills.
