Chic-o-Land in Kingston
A man has been charged with stealing deep fat fryers from a fried chicken takeaway in Kingston.
Mark Allaway, 41, from Morden, was arrested in Wallington on June 25, and charged with commercial burglary, theft of a van, theft of a tax disc and driving without insurance.
He was bailed until September 19, when he will appear at Croydon Crown Court.
He is accused of stealing two commercial fryers from Chic-O-Land in St James Road, Kingston, on April 22.
Police in Sutton have also recovered two deep fat fryers, which do not belong to Chic-O-Land, and are keen to trace the owners.
