Police have released CCTV images of two men following an attempted robbery in which a shop worker was hospitalised.
The attack happened at a convenience store in Durham Road in Raynes Park on Wednesday, April 10, at about 4.40pm.
Two men approached the victim as he was unloading items from a car before following him inside where they assaulted the man and then made off empty handed.
The shop worker suffered facial injuries during the attack and was taken to hospital.
Detective Constable Alan Richens from Merton police said: "I'd urge anyone who recognises either of these men to get in touch with us.
"This was a particularly violent incident, and we are determined to bring those responsible to justice, but need the assistance of the public so that we can progress with our enquiries."
