A flat was left damaged by a fire caused by a candle.
Firefighters were called to Rossiter Road, Balham, at 10.40pm last night.
The blaze was caused by a candle left on a window sill, which set alight some wooden blinds.
It took just under an hour to put out, with fire crews leaving the scene at 11.30pm.
Firefighters were alerted to the blaze after it set off a smoke alarm.
Nobody was hurt in the fire.
