A charity that provides emergency food to people in crisis will be raising funds and awareness at an event this weekend.
Volunteers from Sutton Foodbank will be manning a stall at Kingston Food Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
The team is hoping to raise money as it saves to buy a van to transport food from supermarkets to its storage facility. The event will also feature live demonstrations that will teach people how to cook their food so that it goes further.
The Foodbank stall will be in Memorial Gardens near Kingston Market and will be open from 10am on Saturday and Sunday. The budget cooking demonstration will take place at 11am on Sunday.
