There are a number of race days taking place at Lingfield Racecourse this month..
On August 9 there is a family fund day which is raising money for the Demelza House Hospice.
There are plenty of activities including facepainters, balloon modellers and a bouncy castle. There is also a fancy dress competition.
There will also be a Shetland Pony Dash which is run over two furlongs and raced by young jockeys.
The following day there is a country and western theme at the track. Punters can enjoy a ride on the Bucking Bronco and try out their line dancing later on in the day.
On August 17 the course presents its hooves and grooves night which includes seven flat races followed by a concert by The Take That Experience.
Trains to Lingfield take half an hour from East Croydon station.
