A car caught alight after crashing into a telephone pole in Cobham today.
The driver was pulled from the vehicle and then extinguished by Painshill fire crews just after 7.20am.
Fire fighter Alan Daly said an off-duty police man and doctor helped the driver following the crash in Downside Bridge Road.
