Up and coming indie rockers Swim Deep will be heading to Kingston for an intimate live show next week.
The Birmingham four-piece will be playing instore at Banquet Records on Thursday, August 8, from 6pm.
The group are considered one of the leading lights in what has been dubbed Birmingham’s emerging “B-Town” scene, along with the likes of The Twang and Peace – who played Banquet themselves earlier this year.
Their appearance coincides with the release of debut album Where the Heaven Are We the same week.
Banquet manager Jon Tolley said: “It’s an important part of what we do to not only get huge pop-stars into Kingston, but also some real great emerging talent.
“Swim Deep are exactly that. We expect them to go a long way, and this will be the last time you can see them in our area until their headline Shepherds Bush show.
“Following recent Kingston visitors Peace, their shoe-gazy sound is great for this time of year.”
