A second man from New Addington has been arrested in connection with a burglary in which a family of four were tied up and threatened with a gun.
The man ,who is in his 30s, was arrested during a pre-planned appointment at Reigate police station and is the third man from Croydon arrested in connection with the investigation.
He remains in police custody.
Two other men who are also in their 30s have been released on police bail until September, pending further investigation.
It comes after police searched three Croydon addresses last week. The burglary happened in the early hours of June 12, 2012.
A gang of about eight masked men forced their way into a family home in Newchapel, making off with a high-value haul including a Rolex watch and Louis Vuitton bag.
The incident featured on BBC Crimewatch in March.
