A recent article on your website about fly tipping in the Sutton area brought to mind a dilemma in my area of Wallington.
Some time ago, some rubbish was dumped in a byway behind the back of my house.
I e-mailed a local councillor about this situation who did get back to me after quite a while explaining he had been busy that was why he had been slow in contacting me.
He said how sorry he was about the rubbish and he would contact me regarding this issue and hopefully the rubbish could be removed.
To my knowledge I have never heard since and as far as I know the rubbish is still there mostly covered by weeds now.
Recently some more has been dumped two black bags full of rubbish which has been torn open by foxes I imagine and the rubbish is now all over the byway.
My husband has contacted the local authorities telling them about the rubbish so hopefully it will be removed shortly.
If the previous scenario is anything to go by I think i may have a long wait.
