The proposal to change the occupancy of one bedroom retirement flats to housing homeless families of mixed backgrounds in Gillett Road can not be right.
To make matters worse, apart from these flats being only one bedroom, the garden is also shared by neighbouring Garnet Tower retirement flats so all elderly residents’ lives would be a misery with so many children running around.
This proposal is a form of intimidation to the residents whom should be enjoying the end of their days in relative peace with neighbours they know.
