The Saturdays are thrilled about Frankie Sandford's engagement.

The 'What About Us' singer's bandmates are delighted that her soccer player beau Wayne Bridge popped the question after two-and-a-half years, and quickly took to Twitter to share their excitement.

Rochelle Humes - who wed JLS stud Marvin Humes last July - was delighted yet another one of her pals is set to get married and was particularly impressed with the ring Wayne chose.

The pregnant star enthused: "Big congratulations to @FrankieTheSats and Wayney. He did so well :-) and the ring is to die for in the flesh. Welcome to the wifey club xxx (sic)"

Una Healy - who married rugby player Ben Foden last year - chimed in: "So Happy for @FrankieTheSats and Wayne who have recently got engaged X"

The band's youngest member, Vanessa White, added: "Congrats @FrankieTheSats & Wayne! So happy for you guys. Woooooo xxx"

However, the band's only single member, Mollie King, is yet to publicly express her well wishes, despite being particularly close to the 24-year-old star.

Frankie made the news of her engagement public on Monday by sharing a cute snapshot of the pair showing off her silver sparkler.

She told MailOnline: "Wayne proposed to me on Saturday evening and I said yes. We are both very happy."
