I suggest that anyone concerned about health effects due to emissions from the
proposed Beddington Farm incinerator asks the three Beddington North Councillors
I e-mailed last week whether they'll look carefully at the infant mortality section of the
report prepared for Sutton Council by Dr Mark Broomfield, of Enviros in view of the errors
I pointed out.

Saying that incinerators don't harm health is very easy, and yet those who make such a claim
are strangely reluctant to provide any evidence of lack of harm.

Lyn Brown MP asked two Parliamentary Questions in January 2013 regarding the effect of
emissions from SELCHP on the health of Newham residents and the trend in infant mortality rates.

SELCHP will have been operating for twenty years this year and infant death rates in the Boroughs of Lewisham, Newham and Tower Hamlets all stopped falling and suddenly rose after SELCHP started.

Yours faithfully,

Michael Ryan
