There will be a host of festive activities at Crystal Palace’s Sainsbury’s store this Christmas.

Shoppers will be greeted by carol singers on December 11 and 12 to help customers get into the Christmas spirit at the store which is in Whitehorse Lane.

Bag packers from Norbury Manor School will also be in the store supporting Home-Start Croydon on December 13 and 14 as well as a 10am carol service featuring pupils from Cyprus Junior School.

The Britt School community choir will also be singing on December 14 at around 1.30pm in the front foyer.

There will also be a Christmas fancy dress competition on Saturday, December 15 at Father Christmas’ grotto, also in the foyer. The competition will start at 11am.

A Sainsbury’s spokeswoman said: “It promises to be a wonderful Christmas lead up over the next few weeks.

“You can also come in any time from now and post your letters to Santa in our special box in the Grotto. Thank you to every one of our customers, from all the colleagues at Sainsbury’s Crystal Palace”.
