Students were given a taste of the silver screen this week at the premier of their own short films.
Year 10 students from St Mark’s Academy in Mitcham were invited to make the films, based on literary classic Great Expectations, as part of Wimbledon Book Fest.
Chocolate Films then helped 10 students to storyboard, write and develop their scripts before having their films professionally shot at Wimbledon Studios.
Their films were premiered at the HMV Curzon in Wimbledon on Saturday, November 24, in front of an audience which included MP for Mitcham and Morden, Siobhain McDonagh.
