Men's innermost thoughts and desires are set to be explored in a musical comedy.

The Thing About Men by the writers of long running off Broadway hit, I love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is running for a month at The Landor Theatre.

Creators Jimmy Roberts and Joe Dipietro adapted Doris Dorrie's movie, the German film Manner, for the stage in 2003.

The plot focuses on a love triangle, while revealing the enigma behind men.

Advertising executive Tom Ambrose is having an affair with his creative director, Jessica.

But when he gets home he is surprised to find his wife Lucy has a lovebite on her neck, while discovering that today is their fifteenth wedding anniversary.

Expect to see lying, cheating, lying and then some more until they are found out.

The cast includes Lucyelle Cliffe, known for her cabaret troupe Woman and role in comedy musical Piramania and Plague in Edinburgh and London.

Tom Ambrose is being played by musical theatre veteran Peter Gerald, who has starred in the Little Shop of Horrors.

They will be joined by Kate Graham and Steven Webb, with the show being produced by Theatrica Ltd.
