Vienna Festival Ballet celebrates their 33rd anniversary with a UK tour coming to the Epsom Playhouse on Friday 8 November with a world premiere performance of their brand new production of Snow White.

The celebrated Austrian dancer Peter Mallek founded the company after his illustrious career as a dancer of international renown, in 1980. Notable for the continued freshness and strength of their dancing casts Vienna Festival Ballet havetalented dancers including graduates from the Royal Ballet School, British, Australian and Italian soloists, and guest stars from Vienna and South Africa.

This production by internationally renowned choreographer Barry McGrath propels this timeless fairytale to a new generation. It is set to a stunning array of orchestrated pieces by composers including Faris and Gounod.

Based on the traditional Grimm Brothers story, this new ballet incorporates all the favourite elements from this well-loved tale; from the enchanted mirror, to the beautiful heroine, to the bewitched shiny red apple and not forgetting the handsome Prince Charming.

The company is extremely proud to present specially commissioned costumes for the principal dancers Snow White and the Queen, designed and made by Vonnie Meyrick-Brook, costume maker for blockbuster films such as Skyfall and the Harry Potter series.

This spellbinding ballet promises to entertain and dazzle the whole family and answers the immortal question: Who is the fairest one of all?
