After the success of last year’s event “Love Streatham” is once again putting on a fantastic, free, family fun day on Streatham Common on Saturday 20th July from 1pm until 5pm.

Volunteers from nine Streatham churches are joining together under the banner of “Love Streatham” to help stage the free family event which will include bouncy castles, a bungee run, a giant inflatable slide, a penalty shoot-out, face painting, nail art, mini-Olympics, a toddler zone, refreshments and lots of fun activities for everyone to get involved with including a giant tug of war and much more.

Lead organiser of the Fun Day Nikki Kuhrt said: “We are really excited about the day. There has been so much enthusiasm from local churches to get involved.

‘Love Streatham’ is all about local churches joining together to show a practical expression of God’s care for the community.

We’re doing this because we love Streatham and we want to put on a free, fun-filled family friendly event for Streatham as an expression of love and grace. Join us for an afternoon of fun - it's going to be great and this year the sun might even shine!”

In addition to the Fun Day, this year there will also be an open-air “family friendly” church service the next morning (21 July) between 10.30am-11.30am – all welcome.
