Is there a Susan Boyle or a Pudsey the dog waiting to be discovered in Purley and step out of the shadows and on to the stage?
The Purley Festival has announced Purley’s Got Talent is set to return following last year’s showcase event.
With heats set to begin on Tuesday, June 12 there is not much time to perfect a wow-inducing performance.
Adam Hughes, Purley’s Got Talent organiser, said: “It is a great honour to be showcasing the second year of PGT.
“As a singer myself, I know it’s hard sometimes for talent to be recognised but PGT is not only a talent show but a place for inspiring acts to come together to have fun and to show us how enjoyable it is to perform arts.”
Singer Ayanna Blair-Ford took first place in last year’s hotly contested competition.
Singers and bands will audition at Christchurch, Purley on June 12, with dancers, comedy and other acts at the same venue on June 22.
The finals will also be at Christchurch on June 26 as part of the Purley Festival.
