One of the highlights of last year’s dance music calendar returns next month – and this time it’s fighting among the festival heavyweights.

Freshly relocated to the huge Knebworth Park and beefed up from one day to three, Eastern Electrics (Friday August 2 to Sunday August 4) is threatening to become the definitive summer dance event.

Its London promoters are not letting the extra space go to waste – this year’s line-up  reads like a who’s who of electronic music in 2013.

Headliners topping some of nine stages includes techno bigwigs Dave Clarke and Richie Hawtin, house dons Kerry Chandler and Seth Troxler, and live shows from globetrotting don’t-call-them-supergroups Hot Natured and Moderat.

Refreshingly, the size of the festival hasn't compromised the quality of the bookings.

There is also also a small army of the finest DJs from across the electronic spectrum, including terror techno man-of-the-moment Blawan, Brum stalwart Surgeon and Detroit legend Theo Parrish.

And for the wearier footed ravers, the fun needn’t stop with the dancing.  There will also be a roller disco, karaoke, a dress-up boudoir and a ‘rave pub’.

Three-day camping tickets cost £145. Two-day tickets range from £80 to £100. One-day tickets range from £35 to £65. For more information visit www.easternelectrics.com
