Pioneering dance night Eastern Electrics have announced the venue for their 2012 summer party.

Festival organisers have earmarked Clapham Common for their celebrations, promising an all day, sunshine-fuelled party for 17,000 revellers.

Main headliners still remain a secret, but already on the list is Jamie Jones, famous for inspiring a deep and soulful sound since the 1990's.

Purveyor of the New York post-disco sound Greg Wilson also joins the line-up along with world famous house DJ Ralph Lawson.

Eastern Electrics promises to work with some of the most progressive and creative club brands for the festival, and is collaborating with 2020Vision, Futureboogie Recordings and Found.

There are also another 10 acts being kept under wraps by festival chiefs.

Eastern Electrics launched in 2008, hosting three block-rocking events a year.

It is the brainchild of two of London's most talented club personalities - mulletover clubnight promoter Rob Star, and Will Patterson.

They are renowned for high production levels and genre-busting lineups, and are promising it will be London's biggest summer party.
