BRENNAN ANTHONY JOHN EDWARD C.B. aged 90. Peacefully at Epsom General Hospital on 27th June. Much loved Father of Teresa, Timothy and Barnaby and wonderful Grandpa to William, Gideon, Eve and Orla. For 50 years married to his beloved Pauline (deceased). Strong of intellect and generous of spirit. In a national and international career in the civil service he served as Deputy Secretary of State in the Home Office and Northern Ireland Office. Locally he was prominent in amateur dramatics and in local athletics as chairman and manager of Sutton and District AC. Funeral at North East Surrey Crematorium, Morden at 12pm on the 12th July.
