SW32 tells the tale of an ordinary man whose house is haunted by an ex-wife. Slightly cliché, one might think. Perhaps so, but the excellent cinematography makes up for that. Very skilled camera work with well executed special effects make this short film another great piece of work to add to young director Jack Spring's growing oeuvre. Aurally, the film is stylishly put together, too. Not only does the appropriately selected song My Doorbell by The White Stripes suit the opening scene's feeling of positivity perfectly, but the mood-changing sound effects - produced by star actor Jack Pinder - build tension immensely. If you have 10 minutes to spare, give it a watch. An intense film by a promising young director.
